Care Navigator's release gate combines strict TypeScript, linting, automated product tests, a production build, and browser workflow review. These checks verify software behavior and claim boundaries. They are not clinical validation, medical-device clearance, or proof that an answer is appropriate for an individual.

Known failures and limits
- Blurry, occluded, handwritten, or low-contrast documents can produce incomplete OCR. The user must verify every medicine name against the original.
- Rare-disease coverage differs across NLM, NIH GARD, PubMed, and NORD. A no-match does not mean a condition is not recognized.
- FDA label sections are general product information and can differ by manufacturer and label version; they are not the user's prescription instructions.
- CMS and NADAC are benchmark datasets, not real-time pharmacy checkout APIs. Final price and coverage require the exact pharmacy and insurer.
- Directory records can be stale and never guarantee network participation, accepting-new-patient status, referral approval, or cost.
- Automated accessibility checks and keyboard review do not replace an audit by disabled users across assistive technologies.
